*Echoes and Reflections on the PDP Chairmanship Primary in Aninri on 14th August, 2024*

The PDP chairmanship primary election in Aninri on 14th August 2024 has come and gone but there were significant echoes and reflections that it left on its trails.

First, in a very long time the stakeholders(Major and Critical) gathered in one accord with *one goal* to deliver the PDP Aninri Chairmanship candidate for October 5th 2024 Local Government election *Hon.Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku*
( Ndumeze Jnr)

Secondly, the _creme de la creme_ of both historical and contemporary political struggles regardless of leanings and political ideologies stuck together in one good accord with healthy banters and pleasantries that has taken flight in recent times in Aninri political space.

The former  Aninri Local Government Council Chairmen ranging from *Hon Prince Tony Nwonye(* _Odera_ ), *Hon Barr. Okezie Nwanjoku* ( _Ugwumba_ _Ndumeze_ ), *Hon Chris Nwabueze Nwobodo* ( _Ana azo eze azo_ ), *Hon Prince Chidi Ekwe* , *Hon Ben Alukwu Jnr* ( _Commander_ ) to *Hon. Uche Ogbonna* and *Hon Ezekiel Chukwu* _(Kpokirikpo)_ all worn adorn smiling faces.

The present and former House of Assembly members Aninri State Constituency *Hon Engr. Magnus N. Edeh* and *Hon Engr. Okwu Chinedu Otaka* and *Hon Barr LIoyd Ike Ekweremadu(jnr)* Commissioner for Youth and Sports Enugu State with other stakeholders from across the ten(10) political wards shows seamless success a united Aninri can achieve.

The Organization of the event from the conducts of the delegates, accreditations, voting, counting of votes and announcing of the result went smoothly with the electoral committee from the State highly elated and satisfied.

The various ports of call and stopovers at Mpu Residence of *Distinguished Senator Ike Ekweremadu* to see the Matriarch of Ekweremadu dynasty, to the Palace of *HRH Igwe Onyioha Nwanjoku* at Ndumeze Oduma, and again to Emudo Nenwe community on the Invitation of *Hon.Ben Alukwu (Jnr)* and back to Enugu Residence of *Hon Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku* ( _Ndumeze Jnr)_ were all hitch free in convoys.

In addition, the Election witnessed unprecedented crowd that comported themselves throughout the political process  Vis-a-Vis ugly banters,  squabbles in recent past. It was all good pleasantries, hugs and genuine happiness which has long gone in Aninri political space.

I urge all Aninrians to carry the same show of peace and solidarity throughout the campaigns to the election processes in order to revitalize unity and position Aninri for greater good and foster our renewed Political Future in Enugu State.

It is pertinent to note that our success and peaceful dispositions as a people which are bounded historical in so many aspect will pave  way for us to achieve a lot politically and otherwise.

Moreso, institutionalizing enduring peace will help us built on the strength of our founding fathers and catapult Aninri to whole new height in contemporary political movement in Enugu state and beyond.

On a final note, Political propaganda and gossip are dead in Aninri as our son and Executive Chairmanship candidate *Hon. Prince Ugochukwu Nwanjoku (Ndumeze Jnr)*  has deposited. Let us lend hands massively in our support for him as he key into the disruptive innovation mantra of His Excellency *Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah* , Governor of Enugu State.

_Ndi_ Aninri there is light at the end of the tunnel.
