Hon. Ejike Okeke is one of the loudest sincere voices in Enugu State APC, in his opinion of what actually made people like himself and some other party members to joined forces with the Minister of foreign affairs whom he now confirmed is an Author of crisis in Enugu State APC, against Dr. Nwoye. He noted that the body language of Nwoye suggest that he have hidden intention to impose a state chairmanship candidate on the Party in Enugu State.
Dr. Ben Nwoye who is the immediate past Chairman of the Enugu State APC have this to say –

I am begging you and all others don’t drag the name of this great son of Igbo Nation into APC Enugu State Chapter crisis. He is a fulfilled man.
APC Enugu State Chaimanship is too small for his profile. Those who are pursuing this agenda don’t mean well for my friend and the party.
Why can’t they use the same effort and make him an Ambassador, a Pro Chancellor or Chairman of a Board.
Yes, you are right if my friend had informed me that he wished to serve as the Chairman APC Enugu State, I would have asked Comrade A.C. Ude, Hon. Timothy Amah, Dr. Charles Chukwu, Ebubedike na Mpu, Dr. Obina Chikelu, Hon. Walter Oji, Barr. Chike Omeje, Chief Benson Eze and Ambassador Fidel Ayogu to support him.
If any of them refused I would have mobilized my supporters among the delegates to vote for him. This would have been a time to right the wrong that was don to him in 2018.
But I get your message, you and others joined my Uncle to fight me because of A.C. Udeh. You were reading my body language instead of asking me my opinion. You guys are wrong for that. But your sins have been forgiven.
How do you feel now that people unknow to our party are claiming verious leadership positions.
You can sit here and write from now till next year. It can’t solve the problem. But please leave my friend’s name out of it. The man has served this country with honour and dignity. He deserved his peace.
If we want him to serve am sure he will be glad to serve with humility and honour. He is a servant leader. It is only in politics that people would not see his value and attempt to drag his stainless name through the mud. He has risen above all that a long time ago. Please enough of the nonsense.
Recall that prior to the congress that failed in Enugu State because of a meeting held by the PA of the Minister of Foreign affairs which zoned the Chairmanship to Udi, a local Government that have all juicy federal appointments that came to Enugu State. Hon. Ejike Okeke had appeal to party Members to shun greed and deception, join hands together and support His Excellency Group Captain Orji. That dream came through when in a meeting of Enugu west convened by the highest ranking party officer from Enugu West His. Excellency Sullivan Iheanacho Chime (The Only APC Board of Trustees Member from Enugu West Zone), Micro Zoned the State Chairman to Aninri, Awgu and Oji-River Federal Constituency. By divine grace, the people of this federal constituency known as Greater Awgu reached a consensus and adopted His Excellency Group captain Orji as their sole candidate.
This to some agents of crises must not happened and they manipulated the Member representing South East in the APC National Caretaker committee Chief Ken Nnamani and he tactically left the meeting venue promising to return for the adoption of one candidate from Enugu West on to change the Congress Venue to another venue filled with non APC members and thugs.
What Ken did is definitely a slap on the mentality of Nkanu people and a betrayal to the Nkanu people whom the position of the governor have been zoned to by the Enugu State APC. It is obvious that some of these men from Nkanu may have reached a secret deal to support a governorship aspirant who probably is not from Enugu East zone and decided not to respect zoning and micro zoning in Enugu West zone.
Since Ben Nwoye have proven that his boldness and sincerity on issues irrespective of who is involved is intact, I want to urge him to join forces with his Excellency Group Captain Orji, because Orji remains the only man majority of leaders and party members who want APC to succeed can trust. With Group Captain Orji, the party is sure of unity and progress, a fact that Chief Ken cannot overlook for any selfish gains or alliance from the Imo State Governor or Minister of Foreign affairs. Ken Nnamani is no more an applicant, and there is nothing these men can give him which he don’t have. Financially, the minister is not his match. By National and global evaluation, Ken is placed far much above the minister and Hope Uzodimma who just destroyed APC Anambra state and gave them a shameful and disgraceful electoral participation recently.
