Thank You Great People of Aninri
Your mandate is a mandate to make a positive difference in the history of Aninri Constituency Representation at the Enugu State House of Assembly.

Considering how it all started, there is no doubt that it was God in action. While some see it as an impossible or unbelievable dream, God made it a possibility. Consequent on the hand over of the PDP house of assembly candidate Ticket for Aninri Constituency to me by the party, there were feelings that suggest a kind of displeasure that usually comes with political party primary Elections, nevertheless, great minds who have grown beyond petty political blackmail and rivalry noted my commitment over the years in PDP, dated back to her formation stage in 1999 and my service to leaders which have been hundred percent loyalty.
If I say the decision of the party to arm me with their trust and support was expected, then I am not being truthful, because the ticket was contested by men of proven integrity who have also contributed to the growth of the party. So, I return all gratitude to God for a wonderful beginning and a victorious 2023 General Elections.
In an extraordinary way, I am grateful to my beautiful wife, my family members and mentors for their supports and encouragement.
I am grateful to the leader of the PDP in the State, His Excellency Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi and the PDP Enugu State Chairman for their supports.
I am hugely indebted to the Aninri council boss Hon. Sir, Benneth Ajah and the Aninri PDP Chairman Hon. Victor Okoro under whose leadership I emerged the PDP candidate and now House of Assembly Member Elect. Without their cooperation, patience, commitment and love, this Journey wouldn’t have been easy.
To the party executives at the Local Government and wards, you all are wonderful, your supports can never be taken for granted.
To other stakeholders of the PDP at the state and local government and that of other political parties, I owe you an unending appreciation. To all members of PDP, I say God bless you all.
Now to our soldiers, those who have the final say, the electorates, the Great people of Aninri Local Government – Nenwe, Oduma, Ndiaboh, Mpu and Okpanku, whom nature have united us not by political party but by creation as one people, your mandate which was freely given based on trust of my capacity and pedigree amidst doubts of my possible victory caused by the obedient wave, will never produce failure and disappointment, may God bless you all.
I am also indebted heavily to my rivals with whom God singled me out as the house of Assembly Member Elect, you guys brought out the best in me through your campaigns, I say a very big thank you to you all.
At this juncture, it is my pleasure to call on the candidates of other political parties that contested alongside with me, to join me in making Aninri better and great. We should understand that Aninri must move forward, hence my resolve to appeal to you all to join me in making a new Aninri local Government a reality. In every contest, one person must emerged, but my understanding is that we are all winners.
The financial and moral supports and the prayers of all I mentioned above shall earn you all God’s abundant blessings, amen.
The election, was peaceful, transparent and the BIVAS was completely used, an indication that the will of the people prevailed. So any form of anger should be turned into celebration and thanksgiving to God that there were no any form of emergency during the election.
Thank you all and God bless you all immensely.
Hon. Egnr. Magnus Nnaemeka Ede
House of Assembly Elect Aninri Constituency.
