Ada Ogbu bold to instigate crisis through deception and abuse on Sen. Ken Nnamani
Information available to this media platform suggest that Sen. Ken Nnamani out of respect to the minister of Foreign Affairs decided to work with him thinking that he is a gentleman who will seek peace and equity in the party if given respect and honour. He perceived him as a quiet gentleman who will not have interest in petty deals with miscreants. But the reverse was the case when after the minister and Ada Ogbu were given free hands to compile consensus list of ward, Local Government and State Executives only for them to introduce another round of crisis out of selfish interest of running for elective positions in 2023. They ignored Sen. Ken Nnamani’s Directives that everybody should mind his ward and manipulated the lists. They didn’t even have any atom of respect for Sen. Ken Nnaman in Nkanu zone, in fact, they manipulated the list of his ward and even removed Chief Emma Okennwa from his position.
Also angered by various doctored documents being posted on various platforms by Ugo Agballah men, which suggest that those documents were forged because his membership of the party is in doubt, Sen. Ken concluded that he cannot dine with such kind of people who don’t have regard for integrity and party leaders across various wards and Local Government Areas.
The Decision to save the party through Equity and Fairless as approved by Enugu west people in a meeting presided by His Excellency Sullivan Chime, a two term Governor of Enugu State, and a Board of trustee member of APC from Enugu west, Sen. Ken Nnamani was bold to state as an eye witness before the APC National Reconciliation Committee, that no congress took place on 16th October against the position of the minister of foreign affairs whose views were on hearsay. Sen. Ken Nnamani went on to state that if the sham done on 16th October in Enugu State is adopted by the National Caretaker Committee, it will amount to setting Enugu State on fire. The Chairman of the Reconciliation Committee angered by the Minister’s usual attitude of avoiding APC Enugu State meeting cautioned Onyeama to ensure he attend APC meetings in Enugu State in order to help in moving the party forward. He recognized 3 factions and urged them to go and do proper harmonization devoid of selfish interest. At the end, two factions united while the Minister’s faction remained ready to continue fighting for total structure controls. The two groups which have Chief Ken Nnamani, Sullivan Chime and Dr. Ben Nwoye as their leaders submitted a report to the reconciliation committee indicating their readiness for peace, while the ministers group ignored the National Reconciliation committee.
On his own part, His Excellency Sullivan Chime presented detailed information showing that a consensus candidate actually emerged from the micro zoning of the State Chairmanship position to Aninri, Awgu and Oji-River Federal Constituency and presented to the Enugu State APC which was to be endorsed but never happened and declared that the consensus candidate should be sworn in.
In his bid to stop the excess of Chief Geoffrey Onyeama, Ada Ogbu and their cronies, Ken Nnamani knowing that the APC south East Zonal office is the only accessible meeting venue for these violent people ordered that the premises be locked and keys handed over to him. On getting to the APC South East Zonal office, Ugo Agballah, Ada Ogbu and their innocent and ignorant supporters observed that the Zonal office is locked. They decided to shift their violence to the APC State secretariat at GRA, Enugu. At the APC Enugu State secretariat, the also observed that it is locked, out of desperation and pride to deceive APC members with them that they are in charge, the broke into the office. To the surprise of many, Ada Ogbu was seen in a video posted online showing her making derogatory comments and mockery against Sen. Ken Nnamani.
Although media reins this present day and all information is available to all as events happens, the myopic and blind followers could not reason that Ugo Agballah was not with his own Certificate of Return as displayed by other State Chairmen that was inaugurated. Even when the video showing how Ugo agballah was rejected at Abuja was uploaded on various APC platforms, they continued to go by the information of some paid media houses which only took attendance of all the States thate were at the APC National Secretariat but weren’t inside the inauguration hall to know who and who that was actually inaugurated and issued with Certificate of Return.
Wise party men have since moved on as the caretaker in Enugu State remains valid pending the inauguration of another Chairman. Recall that Buni the National Caretaker Chairman was sworn in same period with Ben Nwoye and is still discharging his duties because a new National Chairman have not been elected, that is just the issue with Dr. Ben Nwoye whose state is yet to have a new Chairman.
