The Executive Members of the 3 Branches of Nenwe Improvement Union Abuja Branch comprising Gwagwalada Branch, Nyanya/Mararaba Branch and AMAC Branch Paid Courtesy Visit to His Excellency Prof. Sen. Ike Ekweremadu (Ikeoha Global). The Leaders thanked Ekweremadu for various road projects he attracted to Nenwe (Oduma – Nenwe Road and Nenwe – Nomeh road etc) in Particular and Enugu State and other parts of Eastern Nigeria and beyond, his efforts in creating jobs and securing employment for Enugu State people, Various Water Projects across Enugu State, various erosion control sites within and outside Enugu State, Rural electrification etc.

They consequently presented documented pressing needs of Nenwe people to him because they are confident that he have the capacity to address such needs based on proven capacity and pedigree.
Haven considered the sharing of political offices in Enugu State, the leaders Urged him to contest for 2023 Governorship Election in Enugu State as it is the turn of Greater Awgu people to produce the Governor. They noted that he remained the only person they are convinced that have the required Experience, passion for development and political will to develop the State without sectional preferences or bias.
They noted that in the four clans of Enugu State Viz; Greater Awgu, Nsukka, Nkanu and Agbaja, all of them but greater Awgu have not tested democratically elected Governor in the state, both in the past democracy and the present democracy since 1999.
Responding, Sen. Prof. Ekweremadu (Ike Oha), thanked them for this noble visit and for the confidence they have on him. He assured them that he will contest for the governorship in order to bring the development the people are yearling for over the years. He promised to look into their requests the document they presented to him and see how to take care of them. He noted that even though he is a senator representing Enugu West, he have done great Jobs in all the zones because of his believe that Enugu State is one.
