Dr.Orji congratulated Hon George Moghalu for being a good partyman and opting for justice and rule of law, in patience in order to obtain justice and orderliness instead of resorting to violence and self help. Lastly, I hope that those politicians involved in acts of impunity and gimmicks to cut across the edges, thus manipulating the existing laws and Guidelines will have reasons to know that they can only be half clever and losers on the long run. He observed that Moghalu case in Anambra State ,is yet another opportunity presented to politicians to correct on their ills, particularly in their propensity to cheat in party elective and non elective/selection processes, this is because those who are aggrieved would be patient like Moghalu, until justice is served in a competent Court of jurisdiction.
The Consensus Candidate of the APC in the last state congress of APC Enugu State have raised serious concern over the future of APC in the south East based on the recent Court Judgement which said that APC had no candidate in the last Anambra Election. He noted that impunity, injustice, lack of respect to notable personalities who have worked for the party and romance with the opposition political parties in the zone was the causes of the problems in the APC in South East States, especially States like Enugu State where the party have no governor and nor definite direction. He further stated that excessive show of power by few government appointees and others who felt they have More contacts in Abuja, because of the opportunities offered them by the party is also a major problem of the party in the zone and Enugu State in particular.

Speaking Further, Dr. Orji noted that time have gone when people watch their rights trampled upon by people who should show leadership by example. He pointed to several court cases and recent judgement as a sign that people will no longer fold their hands and watch impunity prevail in the APC in the zone. He urged Governor Buni the Caretaker Chairman of APC to take the bull by it horn by ensuring that the National Reconciliation Committee he inaugurated is not hijacked by any individual as this may hinder the success of the exercise. He urged to reconciliation team to as a matter of urgency commence work in the South East and ensure that justice is served.
Reacting to the development, One of the State Chairmanship Candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Enugu State, Comrade Adolphus Ude who emerged winner in the congress conducted by Dr. Ben Nwoye faction in Enugu State, Has reacted to the court judgement on the Anambra State guber election which ruled that the party has no candidate.
In a statement made available to journalists in Enugu Ude said the court’s decision should serve as a wake-up call for the party in the South-East.
While describing the development as embarrassing, he noted that “more of such things may happen in the future if the leaders of the party in the zone did not sit up and take up the responsibility of rebuilding the party.”null
The Comrade AC Udeh noted that it was said that a ruling party at the national level could end up with such a disastrous outing in a governorship election “owing to error of a few people who do not want the right thing to be done.”
He called on all the leaders of the party in the zone “to as a matter of urgency convene a peace rally where all agitating issues shall be resolved. “This is not to be left for the governors on the platform of the party in the zone or the national working committee. The stakeholders in each of the five states should meet urgently and find a lasting solution to the crisis plaguing the APC in the South-East zone.
“I urge them not to sit down and watch the party drift further ahead of the 2023 elections. If swift measures are not taken, what awaits the party in future elections may be worse than the Anambra experience.
“We have the likes of Emperor Baywood Ibe, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, Dr. Ben Nwoye, Sen. Chris Ngige, George Moghalu, Sen. Ucha, Ogbonnia Onu, Osita Izunaso, and a host of others should team up and resolve this imbroglio,” Ude advised.
He commended the efforts of State’s Chairmen Forum, which has Dr Ben Nwoye as Secretary, for repositioning the party
