Although His Excellency Sullivan Chime the only Board of Trustees member of APC and Member Enugu State APC State Working Committee and State Caucus and Her Excellency Chief Mrs. Juliet Ibekaku Nwagwu were unavoidably absent at the Enugu West Stakeholders Meeting where a Communique Rejecting Ugo Agballah as APC member and Chairman in Enugu State was issued, the two leaders were in support of the communique as issued by the Stakeholders led by Vinmartin Ilo, Joe Mammel, Timothy Amah, Charlie Chime amongst other APC Enugu West Leaders in Enugu West Senatorial zone
Both leaders have their men on ground with strong words condemning the actions of the congress committee, that of Foreign Affairs Minister Geoffrey Onyema and Chief Ken Nnamani who out of greed and an alleged sluggish obedience to the governor of Imo State who was believed to be projecting an aspirant for 2023 Enugu State Governorship Elections and had decided to hijack the party in Enugu State.
Recall that news within the APC suggest that the APC Zonal Office was funded by the Imo State Governor. It was also alleged that He equally influence the sending of Mr. Ijeomah as the congress committee of Enugu State APC and their bidding was perfectly carried out irrespective of it dangers to the growth of the APC.
In Imo State, for the sake of Equity, the governor supported zoning, micro zoning and consensus. This led to the emergence of imo State APC Chairman through consensus. But with his dubious character as seen in Anambra State where the party was humiliated and as a result failed take second position in the Anambra Governorship Election, he went against zoning and consensus in Enugu State using the minister of Foreign Affairs and Sen. Ken Nnamani.
High Chief Vinmartin Ilo, Hon. Joe Mammal, Hon. Charlie Chime, Timothy Amah, His. Excellency Group Captain Orji and Prince Chikwado Chukwunta who was represented by his media aid amongst other party Leaders attended the meeting. Hon. Vinmartin Ilo who presided over the meeting and all the leaders who spoke at the meeting condemned the illegal actions of both Sen. Ken Nnamai and Geoffrey Onyeama. By the position of Enugu west Stakeholders, it is obvious that Ken Nnamani, Onyeama and their supporters have killed APC in Enugu State if not urgently is done to correct the anomaly.
